After serving as a legal counsel and as a litigation lawyer for multinational companies for some years, Bengü joined Bayer, a global enterprise focused on the Life Sciences in the fields of Pharmaceuticals, Crop Science, Animal Health and Consumer Health (and formerly Material Science), as a Legal Head Counsel to establish a local legal department and a compliance culture. Having served as the Head of Law, Patents Compliance and Data Privacy of all Bayer Group companies in Turkey and Iran Country Group, not only she reached the excellence level of service for clients being aware of their business needs and sustainability expectations, but also built effective and diverse teams with strong business partnering mindset.

In 2015, she became the youngest member of Bayer Türk’s Administrative Board. In 2016, she has been certified as an Adler Coach. She is experienced in bringing strategic mindset and business insight at legal solutions in complexed projects with a smooth ambiguity management. She served for Bayer Group Companies, Bayer Türk, Bayer Persian, Intendis, Nunhems, Bayer Homecare Company and Monsanto in a wide range of sectors and legal areas including but not limited to Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, Corporate Compliance, Pharmaceutical Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law, Corporate Law, M&A… She gave more than 120 trainings to more than 8.000 attendees and investigated more than 120 compliance cases.

In 2015 and 2019, Bengü has been two-times listed on The LEGAL 500 GC Powerlist Turkey as one of the most influential and innovative legal in-house counsels of Turkey by The Legal 500. In 2020, she became the Partner to a well-known top tier law firm in Turkey, as the Head of Life Sciences & Intellectual Property Law. She both consulted in legal expertise areas and drew business strategies for multinational and national clients not only in those legal areas, but also in Employment Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law and Healthcare and Healthcare Tourism Law. 

Now as the Founder Partner of Jurlegal, she continues to give consultancy in her expertise areas, sector related guidance and draws strategies for her clients in line with sector necessities and legal requirements.
